After two successful years located near driftless MN, in December 2023, Level Be Adventures announced the move to their new home in Cannon Falls where their new venue also known as the Cannon Valley Fairgrounds (CVF) will host Gray Duck Grit. This partnership with the CVF is special in many ways.
- For several years now, gravel cycling continues to lead as the fastest growing segment of cycling worldwide. This relocation will allow for the growth of Gray Duck Grit and still have room to spare.
- Level Be Adventures expanded beyond gravel cycling and incorporate other segments of cycling as part of the Gray Duck Grit weekend experience. CVF will enable this event to flourish with a festival atmosphere where cyclists from Minnesota and beyond can join us to celebrate cycling of all kinds each Labor Day weekend.
- The CVF property allows for GDG to offer
- overnight parking
- permanent bathroom facilities
- family fun games all weekend
- what ‘Sotans do best: campfires, weenie roasts, and smores
- stage for awards presentation and music
- permanent buildings and structures to use as we see fit
- start and finish will incorporate the half mile-long dirt track, barns, and fields. As a spectator, the grandstand and other numerous vantage points will allow you to cheer your family and friends and also enjoy festivities either or both days
- Cannon Falls also sits closer to the highly sought-after driftless region of Minnesota. This area is considered by many to be the most beautiful place to ride gravel in Midwest. More driftless = more good times!

Level Be Adventures invites local business and land owners who are curious or would like to be a part of Gray Duck Grit as a volunteer, sponsor, vendor, or as a unique part of the course route to reach out to us via our contact page. Our goal is to make this a win/win for GDG participants and the Cannon Falls community in 2026.
